Professional Designation Programs are concentrated programs for individuals who have substantial academic and professional experience in a discipline and who wish to add a new field of specialization. These are programs of intensive study in one of the college’s specialized majors that culminate in the awarding of an Associate of Arts degree.
FIDM is a specialized, private college dedicated to educating students for the Fashion, Graphics, Interior Design, and Entertainment Industries. We offer four and two year college degrees that are accredited by both the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).
FIDM has 8,000 students from the United States and more than 30 other countries. Each campus has a staff member dedicated to assisting FIDM’s International Students with their visa needs, and FIDM offers numerous support services including orientation, student activity meetings, and cultural exchange events. FIDM wants to make your transition to living in California as easy as possible and is here for you every step of the way.
